Here's an engine I think you guys could use

Anyway this is an engine me and a friend made last year. He did the basic movement and and gun aiming programming and I did the gun and bullet physics, the enemy AI (vary basic), the blood and gore effects, and the bullet clip effects. I think you can benefit from it and it will help the project.

I think we could use the AI as base for the real AI if it is very simple. I haven't checked it yet so can't say anything else yet...

Well the file works in Game Maker 7 but you need pro... So I don't know. I hope you guys can use it.

I'm keeping my game maker 7 pro along with my game maker 8 pro and I would incourage all of you guys to do the same. Many people still don't have GM8 pro so if we plan on releasing any engines or anything we should do it in GM7.

I just noticed a comment in the create event in the enemy in my engine.

Don't worry about that because the blood and gore effects are not from that engine all though I was experimenting with it. I left that there by accident. Anyway you can just delete that if your using the engine. All though that does have a pretty cool effect if you can find that engine somewhere on GMC. But I like the way I have it set up much better.

And I could update the graphics to fit our game by a ton. The blood and gore are a bit to bright for Biolab 4.
