| Today I met up with Hegemege and Gullesnuffs and we were discussing the Achievement Engine. We have concluded that it is time to start working on this. Gullesnuffs said that he would take this on. We will brainstorm ideas for the different achievements that can be unlocked so that Gullesnuffs has an easier job. The ideas must be very creative! Specs on the engine: -Each achievement will have it's own little icon. More details o nthat after we decide on all of the achievements. -The player will be notified that they completed an achievement in a way that does not interrupt gameplay. -Reward: A reward will be given at certain achievement completion checkpoints. Brainstorming List:
- Headshots
- Mid-Air Kills
- Hits (200, 500, 1000)
- Speed-Running (fast play-through)
- Accuracy (70%, 80%, 90%)
- Game Progress (50%, 75%, 100%)
- Consecutive Kills (5, 10, 25, 50, 100)
- Consecutive Plays (3, 5, 10, 25, 50)

| I meant killing enemies while the player was mid-air, not the enemy. | |

| Hits... What do you mean by that?
EDIT: Will there be a reward for unlocking an achievement?

| Well, how many times you have hit an enemy of course!
EDIT: I think that we can add some reward when you have done like 20, 50 and 100 % of the achievements, like some cheats and other similar stuff...

| Alright, thanks for the clarification. How about an accuracy achievement? It would have to be done differently though.
Say you have an achievement like: 80% accuracy
The engine would have to look back a certain amount of shots to see if say the last 500 shots tallied up to at least 80% accuracy.
Understand what I mean. You can't just do overall, that way if they got their first shot accurate they would win that achievement immeadiately.

| I see, maybe that achievement would get completed in the end of the game?
idea(s):
* Speed-Running(fast play-through)

| Consecutive Kills? (Killing enemies one after another without missing a shot) Game Time accomplishments? (spending a certain amount of time playing the game) Consectutive Plays? (playing the game a certain amount of days in a row)
Also when you see which accomplishments you've unlocked you shouldn't be able to see which ones are locked, and the accomplisments should be displayed in a list with a scrolling bar. Of course when you initially complete it there is a popup.

| Well, someone might want to do them all but it might be hard if he didnt know what to do, So I think that we should show the locked and unlocked achievements | |

| Ok. So we'll do that, but how about this:
It's like an achievement branch. The engine will display certain achievements at the beginning of the game. Then when you unlock one of those available achievements a few more become available. And when you reach certain levels you make a few more achievements available.
So in others words, you will have a list of achievements and in that lists there will be both completed and uncompleted achievements, then when you reach a certain level or complete a certain achievement more achievements will be added to that list.
This engine will enable the player to see a few achievements they need to complete, while keeping a few surprises to be presented at various points in the game.
What do you think of this idea?

| Alright, I added our previously posted ideas to the top.
Also, Hegemege what did you mean by this :
Speed-Running (fast play-through)
Is that how fast you can complete the game?

| Exactly. We should get our best times when we have the game done and then include this achievement | |

| Yeah, most of these achievements will be modified once we start playing the finished game. For consecutive kills, would it work as followed:
If you kill an enemy within a certain amount of time of killing another enemy you raise your consecutive kills up 1.
Right? | |
